Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety 2: Working with Social Anxiety – (Self-Study)

This training will introduce participants to a specific cognitive model for social anxiety. Participants will also be introduced to measures that can be helpful in diagnosing and assessing experiences of social anxiety. Some of these measures will include the social cognitions questionnaire, social behaviors questionnaire, and social summary rating scale- weekly. The session will also focus on distinguishing between social skills deficit vs. safety behaviors. Participants will engage in the use of helpful tools and interventions including video feedback, self-compassion, coping cards for self-esteem as well as discuss antidote to anticipatory anxiety and post-event processing.
