Narcissism: Healthy or Pathological? Working with Narcissism in Clinical Practice (Self-Study)

This pre-recorded course aims to engage participants in a discussion about narcissism and narcissistic personality disorder. It will explore the concept of narcissism, both in its healthy form and in its pathological understanding. The course will also outline the diagnostic criteria for narcissistic personality disorder, examine the traits associated with this condition, and discuss how these traits manifest in a treatment setting. Additionally, we will explore how schema therapy can be utilized to work with individuals presenting with this diagnosis. Participants will investigate the impact of narcissistic personality disorder on relationships, work environments, and overall well-being while addressing the importance of empathy and boundaries when working with individuals who exhibit these traits.
